 ADMISSION STEPS

  1. Watch High Tech High and Montessori Approach, read What is the "Prepared Environment" and read/watch as many of the optional resources listed on our website as you can. These resources are intended to spark imagination, inspire questions, and serve as a starting point for deeper conversations throughout the admissions process. While they don’t exactly represent our program, they offer a glimpse into what’s possible for students beyond conventional educational settings. Whether your family is coming from a traditional school, a homeschooling background, or a less structured educational setting, these resources can help you imagine new pathways for your child’s education.

  3. Tell us about your family: (All of the items below will be completed within the application.)
  • Complete the application.
  • Upload or provide link to a student-created 3-minute family video via the application with privacy settings set for viewing. The video should include all family members (including the applicant/s) answering the question: “What project would you do if you had unlimited resources, including money, time, space, etc.?”
  • Upload a student writing sample (creative, expository, poetry, etc.).
  • Upload a picture or video of a recent project or assignment of which your student is proud.
  • Upload School Records from previous schools/co-ops (the program/school you are currently participating in for this school year) or provide the last two report cards or progress reports from your school. If you’ve homeschooled 100%, the application will serve as your school record.
  • Request Teacher Evaluations (unnecessary if homeschooled 100%).
  • Provide Personal Recommendations (optional unless homeschooled - two needed for homeschoolers).
  1. Pay the application fee.

  2. After the application is complete and submitted we will review it and contact you to schedule a Shadow Day and a Family Interview.
  1. After the Family Interview, if you are admitted, you will need to save your spot with a family Spot Saver, which is $1000 per student. The Spot Saver will be applied to your tuition.

1. Click to Create an Account

To begin the application process, please click the "Create an Account" tab at the top of this page to create an application account. From there, you will be instructed to create a login, password, and verify your email via a message to your email account.

2. Click to Start Application 

You have the flexibility to log in and out of your application account without losing your data as it will autosave. There will be a green check mark for each section once you have completed all required fields.

3. Review and Submit & Pay Application Fee

Once all required fields of the application are complete and all required uploads or links are included, you must select "Review & Submit." You will then be instructed to pay the application fee.
